Bastide Rose In Winter - Provence, France!
This place is fantastic! Only 25 minutes from Avignon this Boutique Hotel is set right on the Le Sorgue river in Provence, many consider the most beautiful area in France! Wine, Lavender, Great food and beautiful rolling hills and forests are all around! The house was built in the 1700s and is owned and run by the widow of Pierre Salinger, JFK's press secretary. If you are headed to southern France, there's no reason to stay anyplace else!

La Spezia, Italy Day Trip
While staying in Vernazza I needed to find a hair salon. There are none in Vernazza and was told by the hotel owner I'd have to go to La Spezia which is the largest city in the area. It was a 15 minute train ride and what I found there was a beautiful seaside town with everything you could want! I got my hair done had a great lunch and checked out this historic port city! Cedar Key Florida A Return to a Time Long Gone By!
Cedar Key is one of my favorite spots to visit in Florida. Some people compare it to how Key West used to be.
